Cordinhã is located on the east side of the Municipality of Cantanhede, about seven kilometres from the City of Cantanhede. With an area of 9.93Km2 and a present population of 1,034 people (according to the last survey in 2011). In terms of natural disasters, the recent event was a major forest fire in 2017.
Located on the east side of the municipality, seven kilometres from the City of Cantanhede, the parish is made up of four main places: Cordinhã, Ourentela, Azenha Arnosela. It borders Ourentã, to the North, Murtede, to the East, Portunhos, to the South, and Cantanhede, to the West.
The parish, irrigated by two streams, is mainly agricultural. It produces a wine of high quality and colour and corn, potatoes, rye, barley, wheat, oats, beans, vegetables, etc. In recent years pig farming has developed.
