Information sharing between Law Enforcement Authorities in Europe: best practices and challenges

The ILEAnet H2020 project workshop is organised as part of a study led by CEIS-Avisa Partners on how European Law Enforcement Authorities (LEAs) share information in the domains of migration, terrorism, cybercrime, and serious & organised crimes. The study is conducted in the framework of the EU project ILEAnet co-creating a sustainable LEA-practitioners network centered on research & innovation challenges.

Discussions will focus on how information is shared in the fight against Illegal migration, Cybercrime, Terrorism, Serious & Organised Crime. Attendees will be able to participate in one or more of the four sessions dedicated to information sharing in the fight against illegal migration, cybercrime, terrorism, and serious & organised crime. In each session, two eminent speakers will give introductory remarks to present their perspectives on the subject. Both strategic and operational aspects will be addressed. The CEIS-Avisa Partners team will then present the initial results of the study, based on wide consultation of European LEAs run in June and July 2021. The audience will have the opportunity to react and ask questions.
